Obituary of Glenda Inez McIntyre Miller

Funeral services for Ms. Glenda Inez McIntyre Miller, age 58, of Mer Rouge, LA will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment will follow in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Franklin Parish, LA, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Miller, an employee of Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company and graduate of Northwestern State University, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital. Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Prestige McIntyre; and a brother, John Patterson McIntyre, Jr. Ms. Miller is survived by her father, John Patterson McIntyre of Mer Rouge; a niece, Christy McIntyre; two nephews, John Edward McIntyre and Danny Ray McIntyre all of West Monroe. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Powell, Bryan Greenwood, John Edward McIntyre, and Danny Ray McIntyre. Larry Greenwood is an honorary pallbearer.
