Funeral services for Mrs. Zella “Tootsie” Crow, age 73, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Brother Tim Post and Brother Rick Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Crow, a resident of Bastrop, a homemaker and retired from Morehouse Parish School Board, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019.  Mrs. Crow was a member of Maple Wood Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved decorating and craft related hobbies, as well as flower gardening, fishing, and the outdoors. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to St. Frances Medical Center, Premier Hospice and to the hundreds of people who extended their love by prayer, phone calls, and text messages.

Mrs. Crow is preceded in death by her parents, James T. And Margarette Bostick; and father-in-law, Sterling Crow.

Mrs. Crow is survived by her husband of 45 years, Sonny Crow; a daughter, Terri Crow and fiancé’ Mike Stephens; sons, Ernie Heckford and wife Karen, Tracy Crow and wife Debra; sisters, Jeanette McKnight and husband Joe, Genevea Riley and husband Joe, Virginia Stephenson and husband Jerry, Mary Kathern Gilley and husband Jimmy, Patsy Ryder and husband Glenn, Barbara Jean Sisson and husband Roy Dean, Irene Bonnette; brother, James Ferrell Bostick and wife Kay; grandchildren, Jordan Heckford, Micah Heckford, Zach Nelson, Christie Knight; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 PM until 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Carson Crouch, Larry Carter, Todd Ryder, Calvin Lusby, Chris Reppond, and Todd Gentry. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Ray, Dewayne McKnight, Jimmy Lortz, and Kenneth Stephenson.
