Obituary of RJ Fortner

Funeral services for RJ Fortner are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Goldens.

RJ Fortner passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the age of twenty-seven. He enjoyed hunting, welding, and spending time with his family and friends. RJ will be remembered as an awesome son, brother, and  friend to all. He will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

RJ is survived is by his parents, Randy Sr. and Angie Fortner; brother, Jacob Fortner; grandparents, Inez Everett (Memaw), Dwight and Linda Goodwin (Papaw & Nana), Jesse Fortner (Papaw); girlfriend, Michelle Harrell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his papaw, Johnny Everett; and granny, Charlotte Fortner.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Fortner, Trent Cox, Lee Evans, Daniel Carney, James Letlow, Jonathan White and Cody Hogan. Honorary pallbearer will be Cameron Milliren.
