Graveside memorial services for Mr. Cecil Uptigrove are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Pine Grove South Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Bro. Tully Burnes will be officiating the services.
Cecil Uptigrove, 68, a resident of Bastrop, Louisiana, passed away in Reklaw, Texas, June 8, 2020. He was born February 16, 1952, in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Hubert and Jeannine Uptigrove. He was a graduate of Bastrop High School class of 1970.
Mr. Uptigrove is survived by his two children, Mallory Barnett and husband Clay of Newnan, Georgia and Colby Uptigrove of Newnan, Georgia; his siblings, Lucille Hipp and husband Joe of Reklaw, Texas, Daniel Uptigrove and wife Jacalyn of Bastrop, Louisiana, Simone Lebrun and husband Eddie of Bastrop, Louisiana; and four grandchildren, Grayson, Banks, Hollis and Tyler.
Preceding him in death is his son, Christopher Uptigrove; parents; Hubert Mack and Jeannine Thomas Uptigrove; brother; Jesse Uptigrove; and grandson, Christopher Sterling Uptigrove.
