Funeral services for Linda K. Cockrell are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, January 31, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Elder Ricky Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens.
Mrs. Cockrell, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the age of seventy-four. She attended Bethel Primitive Baptist Church of Oak Grove and loved quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Cockrell is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Eppinette and husband Kevin of Bastrop, LA, and Cynthia Hayden and husband James of Bastrop, LA; son, Joseph Cockrell and Lela Tumlison of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Gavyn Hayden, Bella Hayden, and Chayse Cockrell; and special friends, Ronnie Young and Shy-anne Malone.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold H. Cockrell; and parents, Johnny and Louise Fruehwirth.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gavyn Hayden, Chayse Cockrell, Joseph Cockrell, James Hayden, William Harkness, and Kevin Eppinette.
