Obituary of Robert (Mikey) Ingersoll

Funeral services for Robert (Mikey) Ingersoll are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, May 6, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens. Robert (Mikey) Ingersoll, 58, passed away at home on May 2, 2022, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Chicago Heights to Adrienne and Robert Ingersoll and was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was raised in Indiana and Louisiana. Mr. Ingersoll was a devoted LSU Fan, enjoyed playing pool, and hanging out with friends. He cherished his family and pets. Mr. Ingersoll is survived by his mother, Andrienne Church and sister, Candace Blocker both of Bastrop; daughter, Lauren Denmon of Delhi; one niece, Amber Blocker of Bastrop; two nephews, David Blocker of Bastrop and Chris Blocker and fianceé, Lauren McVay of Sheridan, AR; great nieces and nephew, Michaela, Jada, and Justus Blocker all of Bastrop; best friends, Nick, Debi, Lisa, Red, Gerald and many other friends he considered as family. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ingersoll; grandmothers, Marie Monick and Ann Margret Larrow; grandfather, Lawrence Larrow; and brother-in-law, Mike Blocker. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Porter, Nick Potter, Carlton Porter, Trey Owens, Michael Waller, and Earl McCowin. Honorary pallbearer is Ron Merrill.
