Q: Where did Erica Nicole like to travel?
A: Where was a new surprise every other day. My baby was a true gypsy at heart. She didn’t care where that runaway freight train was going, she was hopping on for a new adventure. Problem was she had money to their weather in Minnesota New Orleans or Jackson , Ms. I would get the call, come get me or send me a way home. 33 years my baby loved to roam but she loved to come home. This time we couldn’t save her, she was always coming back to us, but this time she waiting on us to join her in Paradise. So many stories to tell. Maybe I can tell you some when ya come by. I love you and miss you. Daddy

Q: How did you meet Erica Nicole?
A: I met Erica when she was a child as I married her dad here starts the adventure trying to find lavender wedding shoes in a size 11+ needless to say that was one on the most expensive items for the wedding.We had good times and bad times as they grew up sometimes I felt like she was one of my best friends as she was easy and fun to talk to but at times she could be my worst enemy lol as she is a daddy’s girl all the way and had him wrapped around that little finger none the less our mutual love for him drew us close we were so happy when she settled down married and had a child as those are all cherished memories all parents hope to have bless her heart she was so sick at her baby shower she could hardly open gifts but we muddled through and made it then comes the love of her life her precious little boy it really did settle her down and gave her a reason to do good and live as she suffered from bipolar and had a hard time with life at times.She and the baby came to visit 2 weeks before she passed we had a wonderful visit ate played games and had some good family time little did we know that would be the last time we would hold her hug her and exchange I love you I’m so grateful for that day it will be forever etched in my mind.Erica had a kind loving spirit and was interested in the truth she studied a few times and had recently asked questions and read Bible literature on the regular I hope to see her again soon in the resurrection John 5:28-29.until then she will forever be loved and missed .

I remember it clear as day Brenda drove a green cougar and worked in the ER Donald was a truck driver lived in the country in love they joined and brought two families creating one big family I remember my first time going out to meet and visit Erica and her family Donald grilled for us all my first thought upon seeing Erica was that she was her daddy made over he couldn't deny her if he tried lol she liked climbing on and in the big rig that was parked there that day and first thing she wanted to show off was her daddy's KISS collection I remember watching her make all the different faces as some of the figures and laughing because she was so silly with it she was proud of that collection there was no denying she was a daddy's girl to the core I ended up moving to tn and years passed then one day about 3 Yrs ago I seen a post she posted one in which she was kinda down I reached out and commented reminding her how beautiful she was and incredible she msg me and we talked for awhile we learned we both been through alot of the same things we joked and laughed it'd be times she'd just randomly hit me up asking about a post I'd posted adding that she was nosey lol and that was okay because Erica was exactly that ... ERICA! she was full of life and unique and had her own personality that was not like none other and she embraced that if u didn't like her oh well she still wouldn't let it phase her or stop her she was doing ERICA when she told me her son's name my first thought was different and unique I loved it she adored ja'kobe (sorry if I spelled it wrong) off and on we would randomly hit the other up to either just be silly or nosey or just to say something encourageing when our spirits seems down we understood one another which tbh shocked me like I said I'd moved to tn she was still a kid but she remembered me all those years later and that meant something to me Erica was very outgoing and outspoken I respected her because she always was just ERICA she was everything most are afraid of being she was that one thatd feel a song and sing one minute then the next oh guess what I did today or who I saw or who text me today just completely random but that's what made her so amazing I loved her attitude she wanted to live life to its fullest and she deserved everything good she was a boss queen!!!! and she loved each and every single one of you brenda Donald mark Sam joey Eric even if u argued always carry that with you know that you guys meant the world and more to her even when she might've struggled to show it she freaking loved u and that baby of hers and I know it's kinda random lol but it popped in my head the times me Erica and Sam would go with Brenda to the nail salon and watch Brenda get nails filled in and painted her deeper pastel like purple or Cato's I remember Erika and Sam always painting their nails too i could go on and on the memories I recall but I'm worried I've typed too much lol and I've cried typing every word of this I LOVE ALL OF YOU IM HERE IF U NEED ANYTHING REST EASY ERICA TILL WE MEET AGAIN YOU DEFINITELY LEFT A MARK BABYGURL!!!!

Erica became my sister when our parents got married! It took us a while to get along lol but we eventually grew up and became friends! She was so fun to be around and was always the life of the party! We went on a road trip together to Iowa one time to see Hank since he had been working there for a while, we sang at the top of our lungs in the car and made some inside jokes along the way! I’m so grateful to have known her! And I will always wish we had more time with her! She was so loved!

I REMEMBER THAT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY!!! YOU GUYS WOULD FUSS N FIGHT AS IF YOU WERE SISTERS AT BIRTH! BOTH KNEW WHAT YOU WANTED AND DID WHAT YA NEEDED TO GET IT AND NEITHER ONE OF YA LIKED BEIN TOLD WHAT TO DO BY THE OTHER YOU WERE TWO YOUNG LADIES THAT EACH HAD THEIR PARENTS WRAPPED AROUND THEIR FINGER U GUYS WERE SOMETHING ELSE AND NEVER A DULL MOMENT EITHER! I'm glad you guys became friends at the end of the day one another along with the rest of the family it's truly the greatest gift
