My memaw was my hero. She raised 4 kids by herself, she worked hard and lived a happy life. I remember many walks with her and playing dominoes and uno. She always had to bake something when you come to visit her. She wasn't afraid to say what she thought. She was strong independent and loved church. I know she has the biggest beautiful smile on her face right now in heaven. She was definitely a woman to look up to and admire. The memories will forever be with me and others who knew her. She left a mark on everyone she met. I so thankful I got to call her my memaw.
