Mrs. Binnie White Farmer passed away in Orange, Texas on October 4, 2023. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Goldens Funeral Home of Bastrop, Louisiana on Monday, October 9, 2023. Visitation is from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with the Service beginning at 2:00 pm. Mrs. Farmer was born in Bastrop on October 29, 1930, to the late Lee A. White and Mae Day White. She was graduate of Bastrop High School and the Bish Mathis Business College. Mrs. Farmer was employed with International Paper Company for 43 years. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Bastrop. She was also a member of the Quarter Century Club of the International Paper Company, the Literary Forum, honorary member of the International Club of the International Paper Company, a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and the Business and Professional Women’s Organization during her working years. Preceding Mrs. Farmer in death was her husband, Billy Farmer; her son, Sonny Farmer; her parents, Lee A. and Mae Day White; her brother, Billy White; her sister, Maxine White Dennard; and her niece, Terri Dennard Kavanaugh. Surviving Mrs. Farmer is her son, Richard Farmer and wife Cody; daughter in law, Teresa Farmer; granddaughters, Babbette Adcock, Elizabeth Farmer, and Brooke Churchwell; grandson, William A. Farmer; great grandsons, Reed Adcock, and Anthony Allred; niece, Linda Dennard Kinnison and husband Ed; and nephew, David Dennard and wife Ellaine.
