Funeral services for Marolyn Williamson are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy White officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 PM - 2 PM service time at Goldens. Mrs. Williamson was born July 10, 1936 and passed peacefully away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Christus Health Hospital in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Bastrop but was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church for over fifty years. Marolyn was born at home to George and Zelma Lindeman. She was one of seven children and a twin. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Marolyn was a happy person who never met a stranger, loving everyone. She is survived by four daughters, Patti Hankins and husband, Mike, Karen Grayson and husband, Gary, Donna Kostelka and husband, Bill, and Angela Thames; grandchildren, Michael Hankins (Kayla), Jaimie Brady (Will), Jason Mann (Kim), Darren Mann, Chris Mann (Tricia), William Grayson (Dana), Eve Stromer (Joel), Evan Kostelka (Caroline), Katie Kostelka-Coullandreau (Pierre), Mathew Williamson, Amber Harris, Jacob Thames (Laura), Karrie Thames, and Leah Thames; great grandchildren, Trevor Mann, Karly Mann, Tristan Mann, Kylan Mann, Allie Mann, Jace Stanley, Kaitlyn Bowie, Breanna Bowie, Gavin Stromer, Morgan Grayson, Mallory Grayson, Jessica Stanfill, Luke Stanfill, Cage Stanfill, Emma Thames, Brennan Thames, Alex Thames, Eleanore Coullandreau, Madeleine Coullandreau, Cooper Kostelka, Molly Kostelka, and Carter Kostelka; great great granddaughter, Claira; sister, Mary Adams; brother, Johnnie Lindeman. Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Clarence Harvey Williamson, Sr.; son, Hap Williamson; parents, George and Zelma Lindeman; sister, Carolyn Bonner; brothers, Raymond Lindeman, Richard Lindeman, and Jack Lindeman. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Kostelka, Jason Mann, Chris Mann, Tristan Mann, Mathew Williamson and Will Brady. The family would like to thank the staff at Savannah Court Assisted Living for their love and care the past year. And also, a special thank you to Pat McIntyre for loving mom and tending to her health.
