Obituary of Patricia Ann Diel

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Diel are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM. Mrs. Diel, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the age of seventy-nine. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Diel and Alanda Diel, both of Bastrop, LA; sons, Dennis Diel and wife Melinda of AR, Kenneth Diel and wife Christie of Bastrop, LA, Kevin Diel, Sr. and wife Debbie of Mountain Home, AR; siblings, Margie O’Neal, David Hofford, Gene Hofford; grandchildren, Candace Wilson and husband Seth, Brittney Davis and husband Jonathan, Roger Cook, Jr. and wife Ashley, Joshua Cook and wife Ashley, Jacob Hopfinger, Ashton Diel, Jeremy Diel, Jacob McDuffie, Whitney Malone, Kevin Diel, Jr. and wife Heather, Erica Hopper and husband Luke, Nathan Hunt and wife Kassie; great grandchildren, Drake Wilson, Easton Wilson, Kadence Davis, Kora Leigh Davis, Kalilah Davis, Harper Lilly Cook, Logan Diel, Aubrey Diel, Trevor Diel, Katie Hopper, Noah Hopper, Braylynn Hopper, Cooper Putman, and longtime caretaker, Vickie Linzay. Mrs. Diel is preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Diel; father, Frank Hofford; mother, Ida Lou Bounds Hofford; siblings, Wilburn Hofford, Coy Hofford, Huey Hofford, Mildred Barbuto, Dovie Lee Lindsay and Juanita Johns; great grandson, Ayden Lane Hopper. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Diel, Jr., Josh Diel, Nathan Hunt, Luke Hopper, Ashton Diel, Jeremy Diel and Logan Diel.
