Obituary of Eric Bradley Stricklin

Eric Bradley Stricklin, age 60, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM. Mr. Stricklin was a jack of all trades, he loved working on cars, operating heavy equipment, mechanic work, construction, he even loved cooking, especially making Momma’s biscuits. Eric had a giving heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could. He loved his family and enjoyed telling stories and talking to others about them. He is survived by his father, Boyce Stricklin; step-father, Everett McDaniel; children, Eric Bradley Stricklin, Jr., Eric Brandon Stricklin; siblings; Toni Collins and husband Glenn, Lance Fletcher and wife Betty, Linda Fass and husband Gary, LaJean Clampit and husband Randy, A.C. Fletcher and wife Penny, Brandon Stricklin and wife Melissa, Boyce Stricklin, Jr. And wife Melissa; step-sisters, Shandy Johnson and husband Pete, Chasity McDaniel; uncles, Frank Williams and Earl Drummond and wife Mary; special little buddy, R. J. Tonnang; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Stricklin is preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Faye McDaniel; step-father, Arnold Fletcher; step-mother, Marilyn Stricklin; step-brothers, Eric McDaniel and James Lee Fletcher; daughter, Erica Stricklin; and step-sisters, Denise Spurlock and Shelia Kay Morris.
