Funeral services for Timothy Roy “Bo” Rushing will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2 PM in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Ray officiating.
Mr. Rushing, a retired Milwright and member of Riverside Baptist Church, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at the age of sixty-nine. He loved hunting and fishing and he had a kind word for everyone. Mr. Rushing was a jokster and enjoyed spreading joy around to others. He loved children and they loved him. His motto was,” there are no problems, only solutions.” Mr. Rushing prayed for his family all the time and enjoyed reading his Bible daily.
He is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Rushing Brandy; son, Tim Allen Rushing; sisters, Aliene Ray and husband, Mike, Pat Langston and husband, Kenneth, and Ruby Williamson; brother, Herman Rushing and wife, Earline; grandchildren, Brandi Dement and husband, TJ, and Andre “Steebo” Brandy; and great grandchildren, Joy Dement, Audrey Dement, and Montana Dement.
Mr. Rushing is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Annie Rushing; sisters, Helen Couch, Judy Dampier, Shirley Forest; and brother, Leslie “Sonny” Forest.
