Funeral services for Mrs. Terrie Lynn Hillis Blakely, age 47, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday August 13, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Dr. Vic Carter and Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blakely, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retired employee of International Paper Company. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Earl Hillis & Mary Hillis.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Blakely; step-mother, Margie Hillis of Bastrop; step-daughter, Laken Blakely of Spencer; step-son, Ryan Harris of Bastrop; two sisters, Gail Powell & husband Bob of Calhoun, Dianne Robertson & husband Mike of Shreveport; very special friend, Denise Cain of Bastrop; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; many loving friends; and her pets, Ricky and Lucy.
