Obituary of Marie McCrory Johnson

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Marie McCrory Johnson, 85, of Bastrop, LA will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Christ Church Cemetery with Mr. J.C. Oser officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson, a devoted mother and grandmother, was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home. She is survived by three daughters, Shirlee Johnson of Bastrop, LA, Bettie Hale and husband Bob of Delhi, LA, Diane Deshazo of Bastrop, LA; son, James Firley Johnson, Jr. and wife Ester of Bastrop, LA; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Firley "Cooney" Johnson, Sr.; two granddaughters, Mickey Hale and Kimberly Diane Johnson.
