Obituary of Mike Alan Ramshur

Funeral services for Mr. Mike Alan Ramshur, 55, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Mr. Ramshur, an employee of Tidelands Geographical and member of New Life Church of God, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in West Monroe. He is survived by two brothers, Phil Martin Ramshur of Bastrop, LA, Harvey Green Ramshur, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Bastrop, LA; four nieces, Terry Moore of Bastrop, LA, Rosaland Jones and husband Clint of Bastrop, LA, Jody Musgrove and husband Jason of Bastrop, LA, Jeannie Ramshur and fiance' John Reed of West Monroe, LA; three nehphews, Harvey Green Ramshur III of Bastrop, LA, Phil McClain of Houston, TX, Shane McClain of Alexandria, LA; three great nephews and 5 great nieces. Mr. Ramshur is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Green Ramshur, Sr. and Sarah Helen Ray Ramshur and a sister, Jackie Charlene Ramshur. Pallbearers will be Clint Jones, Derrick Middlebrooks, James Hall, Jason Musgrove, John Reed and Ray Tyson. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
